Transcription: The 2.7 meter telescope at the University of Texas McDonald Observatory used a 2.3 micron filter to reveal features in the Jovian atmosphere with high concentrations of methane. The three sites visible here in Jupiter's southern hemisphere are, from left to right, Site L, the combined D and G site, and the H site.
